Is it worth watching a truly appallingly bad 80s horror schlock about an evil movie script that kills people? Of course it is. Especially at The Shockproof Film Festival, where as a special treat, the film will be dubbed into Czech live from the stage by our dynamic duo of linguistic jugglers Samantha Bifidus and Josef Vokurka, who will elevate this in all respects jejune trash into a unique cultural experience through nonsensical allusions to the 1976 Czech film classic Marecek, Pass Me the Pen! (hence the shockproof title Marecek, Pass Me the Flamethrower!). You say that you don’t speak any Czech? Well it’s high time for you to start practicing. The perfect way is to watch the mentioned Czech classic, get the vibe, learn the phrases and while you’re at it, you might pick up some Romanian as well. So, metelesku blesku to Aero, folks!
