Sex, drugs and video games – that’s how you could sum up the plot of Greydon Clark’s raunchy teen comedy. Joysticks tells a profoundly corny and highly video-centric tale set in a small town video arcade, where various „cool“ characters hang out and just try to have fun while some adult bigwig wants to shut them down. All this of course being just a poor excuse for the usual doses of toilet humor and topless beauties. In other words it’s teen horndog cinema of the 80s at its best, proudly paving the way for the likes of American Pie. So relax, hit the brain switch-off button, grab onto your joysticks and jerk and jiggle away, friends!
