New York Ninja began life in 1984, but the project was abandoned before the end of its shooting. Decades later the raw unassembled material without dialogue fell in the hands of the trash enthusiasts at Vinegar Syndrome, who decided to recreate the film as close to the bonkers content on the actual material. With the dubbing help of some of the greatest B-stars of yesteryear, including Don ‘The Dragon’ Wilson, Michael Berryman, Linnea Quigley or Cynthia Rothrock, they created what might very well be the ultimate so-bad-it’s-incredibly-awesome movie and the ultimate 80s cheese. Strap on your roller blades, bust out your martial arts moves and join the white-clad ninja in his battles with hordes of cartoonish street punks and the invincible Plutonium Killer.
