But in B-movie scripts that is like casting pearls before swine. Directed by Rick Jacobson, The Unborn II is a louder and sillier sequel to Rodman Flender’s The Unborn (1991), a rather convincing psychological thriller about IVF genetic experiments. Instead of psychology what we have here is an extremely nasty bloodthirsty toddler and maternal love that knows its bounds. To give the not-so-intricate story some shockproof sophistication, the film will be dubbed into Czech live from stage by the creative duo of linguistic gourmets Josef Vokurka and Samantha Bifidus, so you better start polishing your Czech language skills.
