Batwoman is called to investigate a whacked out scientist who is capturing wrestlers and using their spinal fluid to create a Gill Man… In support of the current wave of emancipation, the Shockproof Film Festival has decided to do without the masculine charm of El Santo this year. But do not despair as we present to you The Batwoman, an essential feminist take on the Mexican lucha libre flicks. A butt-kicking funfest filled with some really fantastic moments of Cardona madness. Swinging surf music, swirly scene transitions, speedy car chases, underwater action and loads of cheesy fights! Maura Monti absolutely rocks as the suave, sexy, tongue in cheek, ass whipping Batwoman. So ladies, don’t you take any crap from any man anymore!
